YouTube star Chris Roberts is back with a fresh episode of “I’m Glad I’m Not Me”, and this time, he’s walking around a warehouse filled with all kinds of fake stuff. Like, everything.
Episode 26 drops us into Independent Studio Services, a spot packed with props used in movies and TV. You name it, they’ve got a version that isn’t real.
From stacks of fake cash that look way too legit to knockoff cereal boxes with hilariously off-brand names, Roberts is clearly having a good time just trying to take it all in.
There are even fake hot dogs. And yes, those viral Saratoga water bottles? Not real either. Turns out, even your aesthetic hydration might be just for show.
It’s funny seeing The Nine Club host react to all of it, half-suspecting.He’s about to get Truman Show’d.
The episode’s got that usual dry humor fans expect from him, mixed with some genuine “what the hell?” moments.
Watching Roberts geek out over shelves of fake horses or 50-pound dumbbells that are as light as a feather, and fake picks from random 2000s crime shows, is somehow both weirdly comforting and low-key hilarious.
If you’ve been following the series, this one feels looser and more off-the-cuff in the best way.
It’s like being let in on some strange behind-the-scenes look at how much of what we see - on screens or even in real life - might just be plastic and paint.
Check it out if you’re into fake food, movie magic, or just want to watch Roberts walk around in disbelief for 20 minutes.
It’s got all that, and maybe a little existential crisis sprinkled in too.
