As we previously reported, There Skateboards has officially recruited Poe Pinson for their growing family, which means the LGBTQIA+ skate company is expanding not just for the queer community but also for straight skateboarders as well.
In the new episode of Chandler Burton Epicly Later'd, the founder of There asked the drag queen pro skateboarder to help recruit heterosexual individuals for their team.
"Jeff hit me up and was like we don't want it to be just gay people. We want like a straight person." Burton said, "We want straight people too, and I was like, I got ideas, so I hit up Chris Cole."
Burton added, "He declined, but he wanted to do it."
When Patrick O'Dell asked Cole if it was true, the Two-time Skater Of The Year quoted Burton's offer, "Hear me out I know it's a long shot and I love that you ride for Zero but Chris Cole and There Skateboards."
"And I think he said something like, it's poaching season b*tch or something like that," Cole said.
It was evident that Cole remained faithful to Jamie Thomas' skateboard company, despite being approached and offered a spot on a popular new brand.
It's also possible that the offer was not attractive enough, and therefore Cole did not consider Burton's proposal to ride for There Skateboards.
