Comedians Chad Kroeger and JT Parr, known for their outrageous Netflix series "Chad & JT Go Deep", recently trolled the Thousand Oaks City Council hilariously and entertainingly.
The dynamic duo appeared before the council during a public comment session and suggested that the city become "Narnia for skaters everywhere."
Chad and JT argued that Thousand Oaks had much to offer skaterboarders and that the city could benefit from promoting itself as a skateboarding haven.
They said that skateboarders need protection which both disagree with skate stoppers on rails and ledges that discriminate skaters. "Nothing wets a skaters beak more than a fat ledge he can bust a bluntside on. Chad said, "And nothing kills a skater's boner more than the government ripping the joy away from him."
While their proposal was a joke, Chad and JT did raise a valid point about the importance of skateboarding in today's society.
Skateboarding is more than just riding a board. It's a culture that promotes creativity, individuality, and a sense of community.
By embracing skateboarding, Thousand Oaks could attract more young people and create a more vibrant and dynamic city.
