Skateboarding influencer and YouTuber Bryan Arnett has been silenced for too long and decided to call out The Berrics' head honcho Steve Berra for lacking honor and integrity for the skateboarding community.
Arnett posted. "My experience with The Berrics and Steve Berra. 8 years later, and they're still on some weird stuff, lmao. Back to regular vids after this. Love you guys."
The issue started in 2014 when the "Battle For Aberrica" launched to promote the Battle At The Berrics 8 contest when Berra asked the skaters to compete for the glory and to secure a spot in the actual BATB 8 bracket.
Hence, Juan Scotto, Arnett's friend, was removed from the bracket for no reason, and it felt that it was just for a show to promote the skate contest.
The new Berrics shtick for 2022 is back, promoting BATB 13 on the Caffeine App since it was a partnership for skaters to download and vote.
Unfortunately, the controversy spilled via Livestream when Berra still chose a Cariuma rider, even though the skaters on the chat voted for Caballo.
Despite all the skateboarders' vote to make Caballo the winner, Berra still stuck to his business decisions to choose their main sponsor Cariuma to invigorate its presence in the skate world.
Arnett and Berra also had a heated argument in the Livestream after the scandalous pick. The skaters in the chat also bombarded the comments section since Berra admitted that he is now the boss and makes all the decisions, but when he spoke to Arnett in person, he said he didn't make the decisions a year ago.
Stream the video below, and decide if it's that shady or Berra is just running a business. The probability is "Business is business."
