OG professional skateboarder Brian Wenning has another reason to celebrate.
The New Jersey native has officially received a DGK "Street Soldier" signature deck after spending the past several months getting his life back on track.
Since being released from prison, Wenning has stayed busy skating street spots, stacking footage, attending AA meetings, and focusing on living as a law abiding citizen.

Core skaters have noticed the positive changes and have been happy to see him back on his board doing what he loves.
That work has now led to a new signature release from skate legend Stevie Williams, now known as Lord Williams, adding Wenning to the brand's honorable pro lineup.
NJ Skateshop shared the announcement on Instagram and let everyone know the boards would be available during a special release weekend.
"@dgk Weekend -

The release also gave skaters a chance to meet Wenning in person while picking up one of the limited decks.
Wenning later shared the news on his own Instagram along with a heartfelt message thanking everyone who helped make the project happen.
"Thank You To Everyone Involved In Making This Happen
🙏It’s Been A Wild Ride 🙏

It's great to see Wenning receive another signature deck.
He has been spending more time in the streets, reconnecting with the skateboarding community, and staying focused on making good decisions every day.
The guest pro deck is a positive thing for Wenning as he continues moving forward with his skate life, one day at a time. Congrats G!
