Boardriders is growing its retail presence in Eastern Europe with its 18th store opening in the region over the past year, this time in Warsaw, Poland.
The new flagship is operated by Modivo Platform, which runs the Boardriders retail network across Eastern Europe.
The store carries the full lineup of Boardriders brands, along with select third party products suited to local shoppers.
According to David Brooks, EVP of Action & Outdoor Sports and Lifestyle at Authentic Brands Group, the expansion is being driven by demand across retail, marketplaces, and wholesale. Boardriders partners have opened 94 locations worldwide over the past year, including 18 in Eastern Europe and 30 in Western Europe.
Warsaw is one of two flagship stores Modivo operates in the region. Its central location gives the brands a prominent retail spot while connecting with longtime customers and younger shoppers.
Boardriders already has a strong following across Poland and Eastern Europe, particularly among skate, surf, snow, outdoor, and lifestyle communities. Modivo currently operates 18 stores in the region, with four more locations in development.
