The Ventura skate community is dealing with some serious tension after Angel Saucedo, former co-owner of Blackhole Skateshop, came forward with harsh claims about the shop and his former business partner.

In a direct and emotional Instagram post, Saucedo accused the shop of being fake and said he was pushed out against his will.

“To all my Ventura Avenue residents,” he wrote. “Don’t support this shop. It’s all fraud and there is no community involvement.”

Saucedo said he spent about a year and a half as part owner of the shop. But behind the scenes, he claims he was being shut out of important decisions. He says he had no say in events or purchases and that his partner blamed it on what he called a communication issue. Saucedo made it clear he believes it was more about being pushed out on purpose.

He apologized to the local skate scene and encouraged skaters to support other spots like Skate Serio or Five Points instead. He described Blackhole as a selfish shop only looking out for one person.

The post has started conversations across social media. Some people are backing Saucedo while others are waiting to hear a response from Blackhole. So far, the shop has stayed silent.

Saucedo’s words hit home for a lot of local skaters who care about keeping things honest and community-focused. No matter where you stand, it’s clear that a lot of people are watching and talking.

Skateboarding scenes are built on trust and support, and right now, Ventura is having a moment where both are being questioned.

Saucedo Posted:

"To all my Ventura Avenue residents!'. Dont support this shop. it's all fraud, and there is no community involvement. I was part owner for 1 year and a half and had to force myself to quit, not wanting to. It was clear that my partner at the time didn't want me around he excluded me from all the events they put together and all purchases that were made. He called it "lack of communication." 😂 To make a long story short, dont support this place. If you are local and need a place to buy skateboard merchandise go to skate Serio or fuck it go back to five points 😂. Dont spend your money on this greedy shop thats only thinking about himself!'. I never really got on social media to talk about it but the time is now!'. Sorry to the ventura skate scene for what you guys have to go thru!'."
