Los Angeles skateboarding powerhouse The Berrics have unfortunately needed to update their BATB 12 brackets due to hurdles of many situations.
Despite the scheduling conflicts, Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, and other circumstances beyond their control, co-founder Steve Berra explained that they are pushing forward even though the plan didn't turn out as it would.
The 48-year-old professional skateboarder admits he never figured out how to stop the revisions on all "Battle At The Berrics" competition history.
The reason they had Legion of Doom skate team battling one competitor, Mike Mo's Justice League, and other changes.
Having made 12 games of S.K.A.T.E contests, Berra and his team quickly adapted the turn of events as they handled those consecutively for many years.
Berra also explained that everyone who participates in Battle At The Berrics does it for the love of the game - no one gets paid unless they make it to the top. There's no vexation if a contestant drops out.
"We don't take offense to anyone dropping out at all. We kind of throwing names out there, hoping that they'll participate, but if they don't. No harm, no foul, it doesn't hurt our feelings, and hopefully, it doesn't hurt theirs." Berra said.
