Professional skateboarder and Jackass star Bam Margera has been in and out of rehab due to his substance abuse, which is why he cut off for this year’s Jackass Forever movie, after which he sued the film and Paramount.
Margera has had a history of alcohol abuse since his twenties. He was frequently seen drinking or intoxicated on-camera in Viva La Bam and behind-the-scenes footage from the Jackass films.
The 42-year-old has reportedly settled his wrongful termination lawsuit against Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze, Jeffrey Tremaine along with Paramount Pictures, MTV, Dickhouse Entertainment, and Gorilla Flicks.
According to TMZ, the Viva La Bam star claimed he was forced to sign an agreement that was tantamount to “psychological torture,” with so many conditions it was impossible to comply.
TMZ also states that the obtained document below was about Margera asking to dismiss the lawsuit. The terms of the settlement to remain private.
We wish Margera all the best and a fast sobriety for his own good, his family, friends, and fans.
