Bam Margera has officially joined a Christian-owned skate brand, Zero Skateboards, as a professional rider.

Bam made the announcement himself on social media, sharing the news with his followers and tagging Zero Skateboards in the post.

"Yes… it’s true!! I am PRO for @zeroskateboards"

The announcement comes after Bam has spent more time getting back on his board, skating in the streets and getting involved with skateboarding projects again.

His return to regular skating has also included appearances alongside the Plan B Skateboards team during its recent tour.

As we previously reported, brother in Christ Jamie Thomas has been working with Bam on a collaboration and has continued to support him during his period of sobriety.

Bam has been sober for more than a year, and having people around him who continue to support his progress has been an important part of getting him back into skateboarding.

Bam has also credited his wife, Dannii, for helping him stay on track.

Having support from the people closest to him has allowed Bam to spend more time doing what he has always loved, which is skateboarding, traveling and spending time with other skaters.

For a while, it looked like Bam could end up riding for a different company.

He has been spending time hanging out with Danny Way and Collin McKay, which led many people to wonder if he could eventually become part of their brand.

Bam has even joined Danny Way for his intense Caveman workout sessions, giving core heads another look at how much time the two have been spending together.

But Bam has now taken a different direction and officially joined Zero.

The connection with Jamie also makes a lot of sense from a skateboarding perspective. Jamie has been around Bam for years, and the two have a long history within skateboarding.

Now that they are working together, skaters can expect to see more from the collaboration between the two.

There is also an interesting connection between Bam and the Christian side of Zero. Jamie has been open about his Christian faith, and Zero has long had that part of its identity through its founder and riders.

Ryan Heckler is also part of the Zero team, giving Bam another connection with people who share his Christian faith.

Joining Zero is also about getting back to doing more skating.

After everything he has gone through over the past several years, seeing him back on a skateboard and traveling with other pro skaters has been something longtime fans have wanted to see.

Bam's place in skateboarding has always been unique. He became a household name through his skateboarding, CKY videos, Viva La Bam and Jackass, but his roots have always been on a skateboard.

Now he gets to represent Zero while working alongside Jamie and the rest of the team.

Congratulations to Bam and Zero on the new partnership. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a great new chapter for Bam and video parts to come.
