Boarding For Breast Cancer is back again with its 18th annual Skate the Coast and the crew is ready to roll for a real cause.
This isn’t just another ride down the beach. It’s a full weekend where skaters, bikers, and riders of all kinds come together to show love, raise money, and support those fighting breast cancer.
Going down October 25 to 26, the event starts at the Santa Monica Pier and runs all the way to Redondo Beach.
That’s a solid 15 miles of coast, but if you want to keep it lighter, there’s an 8 mile drop-in spot at Dockweiler Beach. You can ride at your own pace.
It’s all about showing up, having fun, and being part of something that actually helps people.
B4BC posted up about it saying they’re just one month away from the big weekend. They’re hyped and ready to hit their goal of 75 grand to fund breast cancer education, prevention, and survivor programs. All ages and all skill levels are welcome. If you can ride, you can join.
Sign-ups come with a clean event tee, a goody bag, and a shot at prizes for top fundraisers. But most folks don’t show up for the prizes. They show up for the people. Every year, the event feels like a reunion of good energy, strong community, and straight-up love for the cause.
It’s not about being the fastest or the flashiest. It’s about showing heart and being part of something that matters. Families pull up, friends ride together, and strangers become homies by the end of the route.
