Professional skateboarding photographer Atiba Jefferson has officially received his well-deserved promotion to VF Corp Inc.'s brand curator for Vans.
Jefferson has been hard at work tasking photographs for the brand while taking care of his venture as part-owner of American Football House, skateboarding, and traveling the world taking shots in the Olympics.
The 47-year-old took to social media to announce his promotion from Vans.
Jefferson posted, "In 1990 I was 14 and made a $5 deposit @bc_colorado for my first pair of custom @vans chukka boots. I’m honored to announce I’m now a Brand Curator for @vans I’m so excited to create new projects combining all things I love with the foundation of skateboarding. I’m so stoked @vans thank you and shout out @julianklincewicz so honored to be photographed by you 🫶🏾."
Vans openly welcomed the photographer and commented, "Welcome to the family."
This marks the start of something remarkable in the skateboarding industry for Vans and Jefferson. Congratulations!
