Legendary black metal artist Abbath has been sober for more than a year now as he took time off to decompress with what has been happening in the world due to the COVID-19 situation. The former Immortal vocalist and axeman look motivated and in the studio to record the new album.

Abbath posted a new video on his official Instagram account wearing a black facemask to also make sure that metal enthusiastic devotees are well informed that it is imperative to protect ourselves and others. With an added caption, "Stay strong, stay safe, stay sane, stay Black Metal!! Abbath in studio recording the new album!" metalheads are already excited about what's coming from the hilarious frontman.

2021 is going to be a hell of a year for black metal fans out there. Hopefully, the pandemic will be eradicated so concerts and gigs will finally be in place once again.
