The five-time X Games medalist has earned his first pro model featuring artwork by legendary skateboard artist Jimbo Phillips.
He was surprised by his good friends during an interview.
The funny thing is, he admitted that he still hasn't beaten Minecraft. Well of course he's too busy working on his craft as a skateboarder.
To celebrate the release, JD returned to his local ramp in Livermore, California, for a session with friends.
Phillips also pulled up to check out the new deck and watch JD skate.
The graphic features elements inspired by JD’s Hawaiian heritage, making it a perfect fit for his first signature board.
The new JD Sanchez pro model is now available in various sizes through the H-Street online shop. Fans can also get a special package deal as part of the release.
