Marquise Menefee is officially a professional skateboarder with Capsule Skateboards after 20 years of chasing his dream.
The 29-year-old took to Instagram and thanked everyone who supported him through the good and bad times.
He also opened up about growing up in foster homes and losing his father and grandmother, saying skateboarding was the one thing he never stopped believing in.
His first Capsule pro board is dedicated to his dad and grandmother, who he says are smiling down on him.
His signature boards are now available, with proceeds going toward his daughter’s future.
You can purchase Menefee’s pro board here.
