The situation has already gotten a lot of attention from the skate community, with core heads backing Duffman and criticizing Brink for bringing up incidents from years ago.

The beef between Duffman and Lord Williams has already been squashed, and some say the situation should stay in the past.

Now, Plan B Skateboards amateur rider Lazer Crawford has also spoken up in support of Duffman.

Crawford did not seem too interested in Brink's claims and shared where he stands. He called Brink "fried" and gave Duffman some serious praise, saying that "Corey is the shit."

Brink, however, doesn't appear to be backing down from the criticism.

Following the criticism he received, he explained why he decided to revisit the old material and share more details about his experiences with Duffel.

According to Brink, he interviewed Duffman for The Skateboard Mag back in 2008.

The journalist says that the article discussed Duffman's past and that he ultimately decided to support him despite the things Duffman had previously said.

"In 2008 I interview Corey for The Skateboard Mag. In the article I explained his past and ultimately supported him despite it all. At the time it was risky move to align with a person who said so many horrible things. But I gave Corey the benefit of the doubt and did it anyway."

Brink also claims that Duffman threatened to punch him in the face after the article was published.

"When the article came out he threatened to 'punch me in the face.'"

Brink says he had forgotten about that incident, along with several other stories from behind the scenes, until he recently saw Duffel mocking him on Instagram.

That prompted Brink to go back through his old work and revisit the Big Brother Magazine interview that has become part of the wider discussion.

"I'd forgotten about that, and a few other behind the scenes stories that have yet to be told regarding Corey and his infamous Big Brother Magazine interview, until recently when I saw him mocking me on Instagram. It prompted me to revisit the old articles."

Brink says that looking back at the material made him feel there was a larger conversation to have about ethics in skateboarding, especially now that Duffman is an Olympic judge.

He also says he no longer feels the need to keep certain things private to protect people's careers within skateboarding.

"Upon doing so I realized there's a dialogue to be had regarding ethics in skateboarding now that he's an Olympic judge and, since I no longer need to keep secrets to protect anyone in skateboarding, in order to have a career in skateboarding, I can share more about my experience with Corey, and the Big Brother interview, that people don't know."

Right now, Crawford is standing firmly behind Duffman, while Brink says there is still more to the story that he plans to share.

The debate is far from over, with skaters on both sides continuing to argue about whether Duffman's past should stay in the past or be discussed again given his current role in skateboarding.
