Skateboarding legend and Hall of Famer Bill Danforth has reached out to friends and supporters after sharing that he is going through a difficult financial situation.
In a recent post, Danforth explained that unexpected expenses have left him struggling to get by.
He said he has never been in this kind of situation before and decided to ask the community for a little help while he works through it.
His post read:
"Hello friends due to recent unforeseen expenses I’m currently finding it hard to survive financially of every one could just help me out with 5-10$ it would be greatly appreciated ive never been in this position before so if you care to help Venmo me William-danforth-3"
The message quickly caught the attention of skateboarders and longtime fans who have followed Danforth throughout the years.
Many people shared words of encouragement, while others offered financial support after seeing his request.
