According to a recent interview with Panam Sports, the 19 year old Arizona native has been selected to compete for Team USA at the 2025 Pan American Junior Games in Asunción, Paraguay.

The selection comes after a series of strong performances at amateur contests across the United States, including the Rockstar Energy Open, Tampa AM, and other events that helped earn him a spot on the national team.

Representing Team USA is another step toward Crawford's long term goal of competing at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

During the interview, Panam Sports visited Crawford at his local skatepark in Arizona, where he spoke about his background and what skateboarding means to him.

He shared that he first started skating at five years old after being introduced to it by his father. Since then, it has become a huge part of his life, giving him opportunities to travel, film video parts, create art, and spend time with friends.

Crawford also discussed the challenges that have come along the way. Despite suffering 17 broken bones throughout his career, he explained that those injuries have never changed his love for skateboarding.

He acknowledged that dealing with pain, fear, and difficult conditions is part of the process, but believes it is worth it.

The upcoming Pan American Junior Games will mark the first time Crawford represents the United States on the international stage.

He also spoke about the next generation of athletes preparing for the Games, saying they are ready to make their mark while encouraging fellow competitors to enjoy what they do, continue working hard, and keep chasing their goals.

As for the competition in Asunción, Crawford said his priority is to enjoy the experience while representing Team USA to the best of his ability.

Looking beyond this year's event, Crawford revealed that his biggest ambition is to qualify for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

The Pan American Junior Games will give the young Plan B rider valuable international experience as he continues working toward that goal.
