As The Bunt officially reached its 10th anniversary on May 26, Benson and Jones took a moment to thank everyone who has supported the podcast throughout the years.
From listeners who have been there since day one to newer fans who recently discovered the show, the hosts expressed their appreciation for everyone who helped make the last decade such a memorable one.
Unfortunately, the day also came with heartbreaking news.
The skateboarding world learned of the passing of legendary pro skateboarder Marc Johnson, a skater who was respected and admired by generations of skateboarders.

Despite the sadness surrounding the news, The Bunt still shared a heartfelt message with its audience, thanking everyone who has listened to or watched the show over the years.
The hosts spoke about the friendships they have made, the experiences they have had, and how much the support from the skateboarding community has meant to them since launching the podcast a decade ago.

While the day began as a celebration, we unfortunately later learned of the passing of a universally beloved legend in our skate world. Rest in peace to the one and only Marc Johnson ❤️
As we at The Bunt and the skate world at large continue to adjust to this sad new reality, we still wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has ever listened to or watched the show over the past 10 years.
We are incredibly grateful for this decade. The experiences we’ve had and the friendships we’ve made have exceeded our wildest dreams.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of this journey. None of it would have been possible without your support.

Ten years is a long time for any independent skateboarding media outlet, and The Bunt has managed to stay relevant by staying true to skateboarding and the people who love it.
