Core skateboarder and model Evan Mock recently appeared in the music video for “Toxic Till the End” by Rosé, where he plays a central role as a former love interest.
The video has drawn attention from both skateboarders and music listeners, especially with its emotional storyline and cinematic style.
In the video, Evan appears alongside Rosé in scenes that show the ups and downs of a relationship that has already run its course.
One of the most talked about moments features the two characters sitting close together near a fire, which quickly caught attention online after the release.
Evan comes from Waimea Bay in Hawaii and first gained attention in the skateboarding world after a clip of him was shared by musician Frank Ocean, which helped introduce his skating style to a wider audience.
From there, his presence grew across fashion and entertainment spaces.
Outside of filming and modeling, he has worked with major fashion houses and has also appeared in the HBO Max reboot of Gossip Girl, where he played Aki Menzies.
He also runs his own clothing label, “Sorry in Advance,” which draws ideas from his Hawaiian background and skating roots.
The “Toxic Till the End” video focuses on the emotional side of a relationship that cannot continue, showing moments of closeness mixed with distance.
Evan’s role adds depth to the storyline, giving a face to the memories and tension that the song describes.
