Brazilian professional skateboarder Gabriela Mazetto has ended her partnership with Jart Skateboards, closing a chapter that played an important role in both her career and personal life.
Gabi first joined the brand at a time when a lot was changing for her.
Around the same period she learned she was pregnant, which added a major personal shift right as she was stepping into a new professional agreement.
While situations like that can sometimes lead to uncertainty in the skate industry, Jart chose to continue the collaboration and move forward with her signing.
From there, the relationship grew into several meaningful projects. She released a pro video part that introduced her style and consistency to a wider audience.
She also had signature skateboard decks released under her name, something many skaters see as a major achievement in their career. Another standout moment was completing a filmed trick at the Berrics skatepark, a goal she had wanted to achieve for a long time.
One of the most personal projects they worked on together focused on her experience becoming a mother while continuing to skate and compete. The documentary showed her day to day reality and helped share a more honest view of balancing professional skating with family life.
Over time, the situation around the skate industry changed. Many companies have been adjusting their operations due to financial pressure and changes in demand across different regions.
Because Gabi was based on another continent, the ongoing shipping and distribution of her boards became increasingly difficult to maintain. That logistical challenge became one of the main reasons the partnership eventually came to an end.
Even with the separation, the tone from Gabi has been appreciative.
She shared gratitude toward the team members she worked closely with, including her team manager, and also toward the owners of the brand who supported her during her time with them in Europe.
She expressed understanding of the company situation and reflected on the partnership in a positive way.
Jart Skateboards also acknowledged the time spent working with her and shared appreciation for what they built together over the years.

"Um adeus! 🙌🏼🙏🏼👇🏼
