The last of the Piss Drunx, Dustin Dollin and his punk band Fine Mess are back with a brand new track called “New York.”
The latest release comes packed with raw punk rock attitude, catchy hooks, and the kind of sound that sticks in your head after one listen.
Dustin has always done things his own way, and Fine Mess continues that same attitude through music.
One thing that stands out about the band is its inclusive lineup, including transgender guitarist Julia Pierce, showing that Dustin has never cared about fitting into anybody else’s expectations.
Instead, the focus has always been on staying authentic, making music they actually love, and keeping that old school punk spirit alive.
The release was also backed by Insecurity Hits, the Black run post punk label helping bring the project to life alongside filmmaker and music video director Dylan Mars Greenberg.
The video matches the song perfectly with gnarly city visuals and underground punk aesthetics that make you want to grab your board and hit the streets right quick.
The track has that simple but addictive chorus that gets stuck in your head fast.
It feels loud, fun, and made for skating through the city with friends while trying lines until security kicks everyone out.
The lyrics are easy to follow, the rhythm hits instantly, and the whole track carries that classic punk rock feeling without sounding overproduced.
Fine Mess shared the release on social media with the caption:
