What started as clips of Toring skating around local streets quickly started gaining attention online.
Even with only one leg, he skates around his board with control and balance that most people would not expect.
Lakai Boss Luis Mora eventually came across Toring and took notice of how he rides. Instead of just watching from a distance, Mora decided to back him up.
He stepped in and helped provide skate shoes and a new prosthetic leg for Toring so he would not have to stress about wearing out pairs too fast and to help improve his skating.
Mora also spent time in the Philippines and documented parts of his stay.
During that time, he spent moments with Toring and other local skaters, showing how tight the skating community can be when people from different places come together over the same passion.
The clips from Toring and the visits from Mora give a closer look at how skating lives and grows in local neighborhoods.
We are not going to spoil everything, so you have to watch the video below. Enjoy!
