Jonathan Henderson has officially turned pro for Civilian Skateboards and it feels like something that has been building for a long time.
If you have been paying attention to street skating over the past few years, then his name has probably popped up more than once.
He has been out there grinding through street spots, taking slams, getting back up, and never backing down from any crazy obstacles.
What really stands out with Jonathan is how consistent he has been.
Clip after clip, he keeps delivering and you can tell it is not just about getting footage for him.
Winning Season 1 of the FUEL TV skateboarding show "NEXT GEN" was a big moment, but that did not stop him.
A lot of skaters get a win like that and take their foot off the gas.
Jonathan did the opposite. He stayed focused, kept filming, and kept showing up. That steady work brought even more eyes from within the skate industry.
His background includes skating in the Red Bull Solus 2022 open qualifier, which says a lot on its own.
You do not end up in something like that unless you really got it like that. You have to have the skill and the self belief to step into that space.
Jonathan has also been fully locked in with Civilian Skateboards for a while now.
He has held it down for the brand, stayed loyal, and represented them properly every time he stepped on his board.
Civilian saw that dedication and made the call to move him up to the pro ranks. There was no hesitation. They made sure he was looked after and rewarded for the work he put in.
Turning pro is not just about getting your name on a board.
It is about trust, respect, and proving over time that you belong there. Jonathan has done exactly that through street skating, contests, clips, and staying true to himself.
Big congratulations to Jonathan on going pro for Civilian Skateboards. This one feels well earned and it is good to see the right kind of work get recognized.
