Calvin Skillsman Crowned 2025 Uganda Skater of the Year

Calvin Skillsman has been named Uganda Skater of the Year 2025, taking home a prize of 1 million shillings.

The announcement was made by the Uganda Skateboards Society, who shared their congratulations on social media, saying:

"Congratulations to @calvin_skillsman on winning Uganda Skater of the Year 2025 🏆🛹."

The competition was close, with Jovic Spiner earning second place and receiving 250,000 shillings, while Mugisha Ibrahim came in third and took home 100,000 shillings.

Skateboarders have been celebrating Skillsman's achievement, noting his creativity and dedication on the board.

The Uganda Skateboards Society also took a moment to recognize all the participants for making this year's SSOTY an exciting and memorable event.

Skillsman's performance stood out throughout the year, earning him praise for his consistent talent and impressive routines.
