Toy Machine’s newest pro, Cordano Russell, just pulled off a gnarly win at the Street League Skateboarding event in Cleveland.
Watching him land that fakie frontside flip to boardslide was something else, and his smooth, technical handrail tricks really set him apart from the rest.
Cordano showed a strong mix of style and control throughout the competition, impressing fans and judges.
The way he handled the obstacles with creativity really caught everyone’s attention. It’s always exciting to see a skater rise up and show what they’ve been working on, and Cordano definitely made his mark at Cleveland.
Finishing just behind him was Carlos Ribeiro, who also put down some solid runs with great consistency.
Carlos earned a well-deserved second place with a score that was close but not quite enough to beat Cordano’s.
Right behind Carlos was Jhncarlos Gonzalez, who rounded out the podium with his smooth tricks and clean lines, scoring just a bit less than Carlos.
The final scores reflected how tight the competition was.
Cordano walked away with a 26.2, Carlos came in with 25.0, and Jhncarlos ended with 24.9. These numbers show how every trick counted and how close the contest was between the top three skaters.
A big shout-out to Russell for snagging the top spot and to Carlos Ribeiro and Jhncarlos Gonzalez for their strong performances.
