Deathwish Skateboards' professional skateboarder Jamie Foy has done it again.

Seven years after taking home Skater of the Year in 2017, Thrasher has crowned him SOTY for a second time in 2024.

An achievement only a handful of skaters have pulled off. And to mark the moment, he’s back on the cover, proving once again why he’s one of the most dominant skaters out there.

If there’s one thing about Foy, it’s that he never lets up.

While some skaters hit their peak after winning SOTY, he just kept stacking clips, tackling bigger rails, and making the impossible look like just another day at the spot.

This latest Thrasher cover cements everything.

It’s a reminder that Foy isn’t just still in the conversation - he is the conversation. To win SOTY twice, you have to prove that your skating has evolved, that you’re still bringing something new, and that you’ve stayed at the top while the next generation is gunning for the crown. Foy has done exactly that.

Not many skaters have claimed the title twice. Chris Cole, Danny Way and Tyshawn Jones. It’s an elite list, and now Foy has officially joined their ranks.

But if history tells us anything, it’s that he’s not slowing down. This isn’t just a celebration of what he’s done. It’s a warning that he’s got even more to come.
