Triple OG UFC commentator, podcaster, and stand-up comedian Joe Rogan has some strong opinions on the Olympics, and he's not holding back.
According to Rogan, the Olympics are just a money-making scheme for the bigwigs, with athletes not getting their fair share.
Plus, there's been a boycott at the opening ceremony in Paris, with some performances causing controversy.
As we previously reported, the Olympic bosses have apologized for the drag queen Last Supper parody, and the Olympics had to delete it from their official channel due to the outrage from religious groups, who said it was inappropriate for kids watching at home.
Rogan also didn't mince words about the organizers, criticizing their huge profits while the athletes get nothing. But there's a small change this year - the Paris Games are giving cash rewards to the medalists, which is a step in the right direction for the athletes.
"The Olympics is a giant scam,” Rogan declared. “There are two things going on simultaneously: the best athletes in the world are competing, and enormous amounts of money are being made, none of which goes to the athletes. It’s a giant scam."
