Skateboarding legend Tom Penny has made his appearance in the 2024 Paris Olympics and lit up the torch post design to show support to the event and athletes.

After being honored with the 'Tom Penny Bridge' named in his honor, the legendary pro skateboarder applauds skateboarding's return to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Sole Tech's éS Skateboarding footwear was kind enough to share the photo of the true icon pulling up in a corporate setting.

Despite core skaters and gatekeepers hating on skateboarding being part of the Olympics, Penny didn't give a f*ck and still managed to make the gatekeeping community praise him for showing up.

Penny's involvement shows how skateboarding has moved beyond its roots and become a big deal in the world of corporate sports by breaking the rules and connecting skate culture with the Olympics.
