The Boonies boss, Tim Pool, who owns a skatepark at 310 N Raleigh in Martinsburg, West Virginia, just made it clear: "No Pedophiles Allowed."
As we previously reported, former Braille Skateboarding rider and employee Carlos Lastra faced disturbing allegations involving minors. Pool decided to take serious steps to make sure that these kinds of incidents don't happen within his establishment.
He made it clear that he wants a secure and cool place for skaters of all ages, saying, "Skate and be great."
It's a no-nonsense move to keep the skatepark vibe positive and free from any sketchy behavior.
The park is all about community, and this new rule proves they're serious about keeping it an awesome place for skateboarders to hang out, practice, and relax in a protected environment.
This sets a solid example for the skateboarding world, showing that safety and respect are non-negotiable.
