Sole Technology founder and CEO Pierre André Senizergues has just sold etnies, éS, and Emerica skate footwear brands, as well as the ThirtyTwo snowboard brand, to the Nidecker Group.

Nidecker, a Swiss company with a long history in furniture and skiing, already owns several snowboard brands, including Nidecker, Yes, Jones, Rome, and Bataleon.
As part of the deal, a new entity will be formed to purchase the brands, with Senizergues holding a minority interest and the Nidecker brothers—Henry, Xavier, and Cédric—becoming the majority owners.
Senizergues will continue as CEO of the brands, focusing on product, marketing, design, and sales. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Moreover, Nidecker is expected to hire a significant number of Sole Tech employees who work on the brands in the future.
Senizergues founded etnies 38 years ago and has since added the other brands. He has been the sole owner of the brands and of Sole Tech during that time.
