Love Park and Philly skateboarding OG Tim Achille provided insane video parts back in the golden era of street skating.
With his resume from New Deal's "7 Year Glitch - Am Section," Bones' "Abstract Video," and other skate clips, Achille skated for the love, heart, and soul.
In 2013, the East Coast legend was still skating while fighting testicular cancer and never gave up due to his iron mind that skateboarding is for life.
The devastating news of Tim Achille's passing, shared by skate filmer Vern Laird, shocked the skateboarding community and left everyone in a state of profound sadness.
Laird posted, "I’m still in shock and I’m still trying to process everything. Thank you to everybody for reaching out to me. I’m not ignoring you I just need time right now. And it’s important for all of us to be there for @celinameehan and Waylon, they need us the most right now, I have so many great memories of @timachille that I will be sharing. I love you Tim so much. Rest easy my friend. 😭💔🙏"
Friends of Achille is organizing this fundraiser to help his family financially after his passing.
The GoFundMe Stated:
"The loss of Tim is a total shock. We are all devastated. I think it’s important we all come together to support Celina and Waylon right now. This is no doubt what Tim would want. Please give what you can and also share and share and share again so we can help relieve some of the financial strain that a loss like this brings. We love you both and want you to feel how loved and supported you both are."
