The integral member of the Unity Crew/Movement blazing paths for LGBTQIA+ skateboarders worldwide, Cher Strauberry is no longer part of the professional skateboarding industry.
Strauberry bid farewell to Deluxe Distribution, Unity Skateboarding, the boys at the Rockridge, and Dripper World in an Instagram story - which highlighted "This is my last pro skateboard."
And then said, "BYE SKATERS."
The growing queer and LGBTQIA+ skateboarding community and its allies are saddened to hear the news from Strauberry.
With Strauberry's resume on Glue Skateboards' "SMUT," William Strobeck's Supreme "Candyland," and other parts, more allies loved the LGBTQIA+ pro skater's hard work.
Vans also accepted Strauberry with open arms, with the late skateboarding legend Jeff Grosso loving what it means to be transgender in "Love Letters to Skateboarding."
Although Strawberry has a band to pursue music, no other information was stated after her announcement of retiring and leaving pro skating behind.
