With an impressive performance that left spectators and fellow skaters in awe, Horigome solidified his reputation as one of the world's true icons in skateboarding contests.
The contest finals were heart-pounding, as the world's top skaters pushed their limits to claim victory.
Horigome, however, managed to maintain his composure and consistently deliver jaw-dropping performances.
His ability to adapt to the course and improvise on his signature nollie blindside to noseslide to 270 out, called "Tornado," ultimately set him apart from the competition.
