Florida-based death metal veterans Deicide has announced that they have finished recording their highly anticipated new album.

The news comes after months of teasing and speculation from fans about the band's next move.

Deicide, which was formed in 1987, is known for its dark and brutal lyrics, intense stage presence, and uncompromising sound.

Their upcoming album is expected to showcase the band's signature style while pushing the satanic presence of their genre even further.

In a recent statement, the band expressed their excitement about the completion of the album. "The recording is done, it’s going to test mixing, then mastering. The artwork is amazing and is in its finishing stages, everything is ready to go and is in the record company’s hands now. Now we all wait…"

The band has not yet revealed the title of the new album or any of its tracks, but fans can expect to hear classic Deicide elements such as blast beats, heavy guitar riffs, and Glen Benton's trademark guttural vocals.

Benton and the rest of the band have been teasing the release of their new album for several months, sharing photos from the recording studio on their social media channels.

The band has also announced their "Decimate" Latin America tour in support of the album, with Kataklysm joining the chaos.
