Hollywood actor and former boxer Mickey Rourke Shares a gruesome photo after an accident leaves him with a large gash on his face, which traditionally happens in skateboarding if you're not careful enough.

"Looks like my skateboarding days are over," Rourke, 69, captioned a photo showing his scraped and bloody forehead.

In the Instagram comments section, people disputed whether Rourke should give up skateboarding at his age as he is not getting any younger.

However, some supporters are encouraging the "Killshot" star to keep going but take precautionary action next time he steps on a skateboard.

It is unclear if Rourke was really a skate rat or if it's for a skateboarding film role that he was trying to portray.

Whether it's for a film or not, skateboarding is for everyone, and it's not always safe to ride a skateboard. Be safe, learn new tricks, and have fun!
